Willi and Joe were my favorite guys when I was a kid. We had a copy of the cartoons by Bill Mauldin in a book called "Up Front."I never went to the war or to the Army -- it was Viet Nam -- but I always wanted to dig holes like Willie and Joe did, and tramp around in the mud.
